The role

To Support patients to make informed decisions about their treatment that suits their individual needs, leading to improved outcomes and maintaining affordable healthcare. Using the Shared Decision making approach, enhancing the patient/doctor relationship, supported by decision aids. To coach patients through behavioural changes to support delivery of Smoking Cessation and Weight Management programmes by using various tools and techniques.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working with individual customers to learn more about their health
  • Enable the customer to make the best health choices
  • Identify or offer the most appropriate service

Specific Skills

  • RGN - demonstrable post qualification experience is essential. Ideally, you will have experience in either Practice Nursing, chronic disease monitoring or acute condition nursing
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong IT skills i.e. MS Office
  • Understanding of the insurance industry would be advantageous
  • Ability to multitask
